History and Culture
PSC was founded in 1977 as a small regional industrial services company that specialized in process plant maintenance. The handful of employees had common values in safety and customer service, combined with excellent equipment that could meet the demands of hard industry work. Today, with over 40 service locations throughout the United States, and more than 2,300 of the safest, best trained and most productive employees in the industry, PSC has become the leading national provider of specialty maintenance services to America's energy infrastructure. Many of the original dedicated technicians and supervisors in our earliest days are respected senior managers and leaders in the company today. Their successes at PSC are inspirations to our newest employees and a proud part of the culture of our organization today. While our headquarters are in Houston, Texas, our leadership resides across the country where our clients and PSC teams operate together as partners.
Broadening our Vendor Network
PSC recognizes the value of diversity throughout our operations, including supplier partnerships. We actively seek to increase the diversity of our supplier base. We believe it enhances our corporate value and our client’s satisfaction. We are committed to maintaining an inclusive supplier base and implementing business processes that facilitate equal access to sourcing opportunities for minority, women, and small business enterprises. We are committed to the utilization of a diverse supplier base when it comes to our discretionary sourcing expenditures.

- Actively and routinely seek out qualified Minority and/or Woman-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) that can provide high-quality products and services at a competitive price.
